Jalikaar is a small Jaipur jewellery house. Our karigars set uncut stones in 22 karat gold the old way, and diamonds in 18 karat gold and platinum the new way. Every gold piece is BIS hallmarked, and every price comes with its breakup.

From sketch to hallmark
Each piece passes through four pairs of hands in our Jaipur workshop. You can follow the same steps for a custom design.
Sketch
Every design starts as a pencil drawing at true size. For custom pieces you see and approve the drawing before any gold is cut.
Gold frame
The frame is made in 22K or 18K gold, by hand for kundan and by casting for diamond pieces, then filed and polished.
Stone setting
Kundan and polki are set in gold foil; diamonds go into claws or pavé under magnification and are checked one by one.
Hallmark
Gold is hallmarked at a BIS-recognised centre and carries a six-digit HUID you can verify yourself. Then it is cleaned, boxed and insured.
